Your Mate and Mine

A Very Full Kitchen

Eva’s POV:

I wasn’t really expecting to meet or have any kind of ‘parent’ conversations so soon and definitely not without Thom and Nixie. But Bonnie seemed nice and genuinely interested in getting to know me. It was odd though despite being a Luna myself I knew that this was not a conversation between two Lunas she was my mates mother and I really wanted her approval - Felix’s parents had always been polite, but that was to be expected I did outrank them. So far with Bonnie things felt different, though I did technically outrank her too. I told her how I like my coffee and just as she turned to come over to me, in burst Felix, red faced with rage, and nostrils flaring.   

“There’s my wife.” He snarled “please excuse me Luna Bonnie, I need to have a word with her!” he almost spat the last word. 

I’d never seen him so angry, ‘What are you doing Felix, I actually need to talk to you too, but I’m in the middle of something, so I’ll find you after okay.’ I said over mind link. 

“No we’ll talk now you adulterous b***h!” He shouted. 

Adulterous? Me? Form the man who went on a weekend business trip and brought home a second wife! - I thought to myself. I really hated doing this but I absolutely refuse to take that kind of disrespect, especially in front of people that were now both new and dear to me. 

“GO UPSTAIRS! PACK UP YOUR STUFF! THEN WAIT FOR ME!” I shouted in my Luna voice. 

He looked like I’d punched him, snarled at me but had no choice but to submit. He was not a true Alpha, and I definitely outranked him. 

I turned to Bonnie, who looked at me sympathetically.   

“I’m so sorry, Bonnie.” I said feeling more embarrassed than I ever remember feeling before.

“What’s going on here? Bon-Bon are you alright?” Alpha Henry came bursting into the kitchen, followed by his Beta, Gamma, Malachi, Casey, the Beta-female.

“I’m fine dear, but I do think we all have some important things to discuss.” She answers, hugging by her husband. 

“Eva! Are you okay? We heard your Luna voice...” cried Nixie, worriedly running into the kitchen. 

As she got to me she realised everyone was in here with me, and turned to look at them all questioningly. I saw Thom enter the room too, he walked over looking so gorgeous, and to my surprise he picked me up and sat me on his lap like I weighed nothing. 

“What is going on?” Asked Beta Dom, frowning at me on his son’s lap. 

“Dad I found my mates, last night.” Said Thom. 

“Yes we all saw you and Nixie shift we know that you’re.... wait... did you say, mates?” He stressed the ‘s’

Nixie moved closer and took my hand, while I could see Thom’s grin in my peripheral vision. 

“Mam, Tad. Hoffwn ichi gwrdd yn ffurfiol â'm ffrindiau, Thomas Blake, ac Evangeline Jade. Os gwelwch yn dda heblaw nhw fel rydw i wedi gwneud.” Said Nixie in their native tongue.

(Mum, Dad. I would like you to formally meet my mates, Thomas Blake, and Evangeline Jade. Please except them as I have done.)

Bonnie smiled, “I already have dear,” then frowned, “though the situation is more complex than I’d hoped for you. For all of you.” She added looking at me, and Thom meaningfully. 

“Thom is this true?” Asked his mother Thandie, the Beta-female.

He nodded, “Yes mum, I have been twice blessed by the moon goddess.”

She screeched in sheer joy, and managed to embrace Nixie and me in one movement. “Two daughters, oh girls I’m so pleased, well have to start planning weddings, spring should be nice, what do you think?” I thought she was talking to me and Nix, but then I noticed she was staring questioningly at Bonnie.  

⁃ I see - I thought - one of those, ahaha I guess I won’t have much say then. -

“But she’s already married!” Shouted Alpha Henry. 

“Jade Moon right?” Asked Beta Dom to me. 

“Yes.” I said. “I had to take a chosen mate when my parents died. He has since found his true mate, but we were not allowed to break our bond until I had found mine.”

“Why ever not dear?” Asked Thandie concerned. 

“Because they didn’t want a Luna ruling alone, I needed my Alpha. Now that I’ve found him, we can make everything right.” I explained.

We hadn’t had a chance to talk it over, but to my surprise both Nixie and Thom, nodded. 

“Wait,” pipped up Malachi, “You can’t be a Beta here, and an Alpha there!” 

“I know Mal, I’m sorry, you’re going to have to choose another.” Answered Thom. 

“Well that settles it, there will be no wedding between the three of you until, this other marriage has been dismantled. I’ll not have my daughter or Thom marrying another mans wife.” Commanded Alpha Henry. “Aside from that, I think we all have some decisions to make. I suggest you all go and think about your next steps, and I’ll inform the visiting Alpha’s of the changes to tonight proceedings. Mal, take your time choosing, and tonight it’ll just be you and Zachary. Dom my friend I’m afraid your retirement will need to be put on hold.” He sighed deeply and stepped towards Nixie, giving her a huge hug and then left, the others followed. I was alone with my mates again. 

“Thankyou” I sad to them both, “for a moment I thought it would just be me and your families, I’m glad you came down.”

“Of course silly, we really didn’t feel right without you there.” Said Nixie sweetly kissing my cheek. 

“Maybe we should, umm go upstairs?” Thom asked. 

I looked at them, Thom was hard beneath me, and Nixie was wearing only a t-shirt.

“Yeah, can’t have this one wearing so little in such a full house!” I growled at her playfully. 

She giggled - what an amazing sound - “follow me.” She said skipping off to the stairs. 

Before I could though, Thom stood up with me still in his arms, and carried me behind Nix all the way to the top floor, Nixies scent grew stronger as we approached a door - this must be her room -

Nixies room was pretty - well pretty - she had a fluffy white carpet, she had a large queen size bed, the roll-top head and foot board were covered in a beautiful patchwork of, velvet, silk, suede and cotton in shades of blue, green, and plum. She had cushions in pale geometric patterns, cascading half way down the bed too. One wall was taken up by a floor to ceiling window with patio doors leading to a balcony. There were two doors on left hand wall which I assumed led to the bathroom, and the closet. She had hung mirrors and fairy lights everywhere and there were flocks of butterflies, dragonflies, and fluffy bumblebees moving across her ceiling obviously enchanted, probably with fae magic.

Fully into the room, Nixie turned around and smiled shyly at us. “I umm thought since we’re probably going to leave with you it would be nice to have brought someone to my room.” She said looking at the floor.

Thom’s POV:

Uncle Henry said that we couldn’t marry Eva, but he did not mention mating and marking. That was still definitely on the table, and as soon as I was able to, that is exactly what I intended to do with my gorgeous mates. When Nix led us up to her room my breath quickened I’d lived in the same house as her my whole life but never once been in here.

I smirked when I saw the ceiling - how very Nixie - I thought.

‘Our mates are so perfect, you need to Mark them now!’ Said Raoul.

‘Easy buddy, believe me I want to but they need to be ready for it too, Nixie may need more time, and Eva’s situation is complicated still.’ I replied.

‘They want it.’ Raoul retorted.

I was going to say something else when I heard Nixie, the way she said that, did she mean....

I put Eva back on her feet and closed the door, “Nixie, do you mean...?”

She smiled at me I could smell her arousal, and Eva’s too growing in understanding, “I would like to lose my virginity here, before we go somewhere new. If you are both willing?”
