Lake’s POV
As I walked down the hall beside Brayla I saw how each one of the pack members we passed interacted with her. “Wow, your pack members really respect you.” They treated her like she was a queen.
“I guess I know how to work my way into people’s hearts,” Brayla said simply.
One thing I knew about Brayla was that she was a charmer. Maybe that was one of the reasons I had a crush on her when I was younger. The days we’re getting easier. Brayla was nothing but nice and patient with me.
I still kept my distance but it was harder when we would get in bed. Nothing had happened yet because I was avoiding it for as long as I could.
Brayla made her first move by unzipping my jacket when I got in bed with her. She slowly pushed it off my shoulders. “You’re a beautiful Lake.”
“Thanks.”
