Chapter 3: Intervention

237 Words
The battle raged on, the sounds of snarls and growls filling the night air as they clashed against their enemies with all the strength they possessed. It was a fight for survival, a fight for freedom, and they would not rest until victory was theirs. But just as they seemed on the brink of triumph, disaster struck. A sudden flash of movement caught Elena off guard, and before she could react, a searing pain tore through her side, sending her crashing to the forest floor. She looked up through a haze of pain to see Lucas standing over her, his eyes wide with horror as he witnessed the scene unfolding before him. The rogue leader loomed above them, his claws stained crimson with blood as he prepared to strike the final blow. But before he could deliver the killing blow, a voice rang out from the darkness—a voice filled with power and authority that sent shivers down Elena's spine. "Enough." With those simple words, the forest fell silent, the tension in the air palpable as every creature held its breath. And then, emerging from the shadows, came the figure of a lone wolf—a wolf whose presence commanded respect and awe in equal measure. It was none other than Elena's father, the Alpha, his fur gleaming silver in the moonlight as he surveyed the scene before him with a mixture of pride and concern.
