“Would you like to come over tonight, we could go over the contract together over some ice cream, and you could work your magic on helping me win it.” I suggested as I internally prayed for her to accept my offer.
She dropped the heap of paper gently in front of me and answered.
“I’m sorry sir, but my husband just came back so I have to be home with him tonight.” She said formally, her voice sounding a little cold.
