IRENE’s POV...
“Can you just stop blocking my path and stop trying to talk to me already.” I glared and snapped at him.
“Listen to me for just a minute please, just one minute.” He pleaded. “Irene I just want to see her, one more time. Please.”
I groaned in frustration, “Why do you need to see her? You were the one who left her remember.”
He sighed and ran through his hair and attempted to speak again but I started to talk, cutting him short.
“Listen, Matteo, My friend, Connie doesn’t want anything to do with you again. She’s happily married to a wonderful man and has three beautiful kids.” I said to him. I watched his expression fall into a small scowl the minute I told him Connie was married.
