I could honestly have come for this business trip alone because it was just a meeting with two of our business partners and I didn’t really need my assistant to be there with me, but I wasn’t taking the chance of being away from Irene for three days.
I mean, it was sad enough that I had to watch her go home to another man while I imagine him doing all sort of things with her. This was the only way I could get to be with her so I took my chances.
Matteo came along with Irene and I to Netherlands. Apparently, he wants to see how their ladies are built or something along that line.
All while we were on the plane, Matteo and Irene never said a word to each another or even looked at themselves. It was their first time meeting after sixteen years
