IRENE’s POV....
“You know what honey, I feel like you should just go live with Mason instead. I mean since you’re always wanting to spend the night in their house.” I said in a whiny tone.
“Oh my gosh mom, are you jealous of Mason right now?” She teased.
I rolled my eyes at her and focused on the television even though I had no idea what show was on.
“Mommy..” she called in a childlike tone and wrapped her arm around my waist then snuggled into my chest.
I sighed, “I’m not jealous of Mace or anything. It’s just that you’ve barely been staying at home. I mean, you’re always either spending the night at Mason’s or he’s spending the night here. You two are always together, you’re inseparable and you and I never actually have our mother daughter time anymore, even on the weekends.”
