“He just out of the blues told me to get my passport and things ready because we would be traveling the day after tomorrow to attend some business meetings. I have to go with him because I’m his assistant, it’s important for me to be there honey.” I explained to my husband and daughter.
“How long would you be gone for?” Antonia asked.
“Two days baby, just two days” I answered.
“Alright then.” She shrugged.
“You don’t have a problem with me being gone for that long?” I asked in surprise as I looked from her to Max.
“Of course not mom. It’s work, I get it. Your boss needs you to come with him so you have to go. And besides, I think I can deal with you being away from the house for two day.” She responded.
