“What was that look she gave me?” Antonio asked the minute the elevator closed.
“What look?” I turned to him and asked.
“Martha. She gave me this really weird look earlier.”He responded then paused for a few seconds. “Does she know about us? He asked.
“Yeah, She does,” I answered
“You told her?” He questioned, surprise evident in his voice.
“Yes. Yes, I told her. But it was long before we started going out. And she has kept it a secret since then, so you don’t have to worry about people at the office finding out or gossiping about it..” I assured him.
“You know I have no problem with everyone finding out about us, right baby.”
I nodded gently.
“I’m going to wait till you’re ready to tell everyone about us, Irene. I’m not going to pressure you or anything.” He finished.
