Matteo came to my house seven pm in the evening and practically forced me to change into some clean clothes so we could go to the bar to drink. I didn’t understand why we needed to go to some bar to go drink when I have a big room filled with different types of expensive and exquisite alcohol and we could drink in the comfort of our rooms.
According to him, the feeling of drinking at a bar crowded with people couldn’t be compared to drinking at home so I ended up going with him to the bar he picked.
We entered into the bar and I was instantly hit with the strong smell of different alcohol and the low indie rock music. The orange light bulb illuminated the room and made the brown furniture shine a light shade of gold, making it very beautiful. It actually looked pleasant to the eyes and I’m definitely going to be getting myself the light bulb when the interior decoration of my house back in Italy begins.
“Don’t you just love the view.” Matteo asked, his voice bringing me out of my thoughts.
“It actually doesn’t look all that bad, I like it.” I nodded and responded then saw him smirk his achievement smirk and I just wanted to wipe it off his face, “Just the furniture though, I still don’t like the idea of drinking in the midsts of people when I have my own drink parlor.
“You can be really annoying at times you know.” Matteo rolled his eyes at me and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Right back at you bro.” I retorted.
