Bar night

"I don't want to go back to school" I pouted

"C'mon get dressed so we can go out" Marie said "And I don't want to go back either"

"Ugh. What do I wear to Montana bars" I groaned

"Are you two ready yet?" Connor asked walking into the room

"No" Marie laughed "Someone is not dressed"

"I've been to New York bars and our college bars. The f**k do I wear to Montana bars" I said

"Look at us. And go for that" Connor said

They're both in jeans, boots, and nice shirts. Hmm.

"Okay fine. Out" I said

Connor laughed and left the room and Marie looked at me. I pointed to the door and she laughed but walked out shutting it behind her. Going through the drawers, I found an outfit and put it on. Okay, I kinda match Marie, good enough. Walking out of the room, I headed down stairs and into the kitchen.

"Oh girl. You'll fit right in" Marie smiled

"Good job" Connor said

I sent a glare his way and we all got into their dads truck. I sat in the back with Marie. We are meeting her friends at one of the bars. A couple of Connors friends are coming too, so he's going to hang out with them. Braxton ended up staying the night when we had that storm. Which was a good thing because his truck didn't start the next morning. His alternator went. I had nothing to do, so I helped replace it while Marie went and did, I don't remember.

"Okay, don't get too hammered and call me when you're ready to get picked up" Their dad said

"I'll watch her. Well, try" I said

"Good luck" Their dad laughed

We all got out of the truck and the siblings said bye to their dad. I awkwardly stood there for a second before following them inside, where they split up, so I followed Marie. Going through the crowd of people, we came to a table with four other girls at it. There's two seats left.

"Hey, girls this is Becca" Marie said

"Hi" They said

"This is Taylor, Alex, Carol and Justine" Marie said

"Hi" I said back

They motioned to the two empty seats and we sat down. They all introduced themselves and then aww'd when I said I was from New York. I mean, it's not all it's chopped up to be. The city is okay, but I don't really care for the city that much. It's loud and busy and people are ass holes. Then you have tourists. Granted i'm one here but still. City tourist are terrible.

"So, we all know about Marie's one ex, what about you Becca. Any good stories?" Uhm Alex, yeah, Alex said

"She does" Marie laughed

"I told your brother this story" I laughed

"You did?" Marie asked

"When he was telling me about what's her face. I told him about this guy cause I'm the one who brought up the situation" I said

"Well..." Alex said

I laughed and told the story for the second time this trip. This honestly isn't even the peak of Family drama or issues. They were pissed when they learned I was going to school almost on the complete other side of the country. I got so much s**t for it. And the amount of 'you're going to have to pay your own student loans' comments I got. Well I was planning on paying them myself anyway because I don't make my parents pay my bills unlike some people. Yeah, I got yelled at for that one. But it's fine, I moved like three days later.

"So, are you going to move back home after you graduate?" Carol asked

"I don't know. I don't want to" I shrugged

Marie and I got drinks and we joined in on the drinking. I also ordered chicken fingers because why not, I like food.

"So, what is your type?' Justine asked

"My what?" I asked

"Your type? What kind of guys are you into?" She asked

"Besides assholes? Hmm, I don't know" I laughed

"I feel that. But now i'm married" Carol said

"I'm engaged" Taylor smiled

"I can't wait for your wedding" Marie smiled

"I'm dating a guy, maybe it'll go all the way" Alex said

"Marie and I are the loan wolves" Justine said

"Becca is a flirt though, you should see her when we go out at school. Breaking hearts everywhere we go" Marie smiled

"Not uh. I am just a nice person trying to make friends while also being socially awkward so I never actually message them back" I laughed

"Good job" Alex said

"I don't know how I ever dated" I said

They all laughed and we continued on with our night. Marie is downing drinks in case anyone is wondering. I've had about three and am started to feel a little tipsy.

"Oh look who's here" Marie groaned

"What?" Some of us said and looked around

"Ohh I see" Justine said

I don't know what they're talking about.

"You think Connor saw them?" Alex said

"Well they're about to sit right by him" Marie said

"Doesn't she get like super jealous?" Taylor asked

"She did why?" Marie asked

"Find someone to sit with your brother and see what she does" She laughed

"Oh, Becca. Do you want to go piss off a girl" Marie asked

She had a s**t eating grin on her face but it's funny.

"Sure why not" I laughed

"Okay, go hang out with Connor and his buddies. But sit closest to the end" She said

"Sure" I replied even though that made no sense

Standing up, I walked over to the bar, since that's where the boys decided to sit.

"Hey" I said sitting down

"Hey, your face is red" Connor said

"Yeah that happens when I drink" I laughed

"So what are you up to" He asked

"Well, your sister and friends are trying to make someone jealous so I got sent over here" I said

"What?" He asked

"Yes" I replied

"Are you drunk?" Connor laughed

"No, but I do have a bit of a buzz. Something about ex's. I don't know people's names" I said

"Oh" He said and looked around "Oh. Okay. Yeah she does get jealous but she cheated so f**k her"

"I mean true. But I don't know. Anyway, how's your night going?" I asked

"Was good. I don't want to deal with those two though" Connor said

"Hey, no one said you had to pay them any mind. Females are dumb" I shrugged

"You just called your self dumb" He smiled

"I mean, I am kinda dumb" I shrugged

"Well you are friends with my sister so you may be right" Connor laughed

"Hey" I said and smacked his arm

"So are you trying to play the make my ex jealous card?" He asked

"I can" I laughed

"I might take you up on that" Connor said

"Hey Becca" Braxton said walking over

"Hey" I smiled

"We might have fun tonight" Connor said

"Uhm that's your sisters friend, I thought that was a no" Braxton said

"That's not what I meant" Connor said

"Wait, what" I replied

"Nothing" They both said

I blinked a couple of times and looked at them. They both just laughed and Braxton sat on the other side of Connor.

"Are you good at flirting?" Connor asked

"Apparently" I replied

"What do you mean, apparently" Braxton laughed

"I'm oblivious but apparently i'm a flirt so.." I said

"Oh" He said

I smiled and half giggled and the two boys looked at each other then looked at me and laughed.

"Do you want a drink?" Connor asked

"I've had three I think" I said

"That's it? How many has my sister had?" He replied

"Like..6" I laughed

"Sometimes, I don't know how she hasn't gotten arrested" Connor said

"Well" I said

"What" Connor and Braxton said

"There was a time, we didn't get arrested but your sister also got it to that point" I said smiling

Oh my, I get giggly and talkative when I drink, we need to tone this down.

"Do you have any other stories?" Braxton asked

"I have a lot" I replied

"You want to share some?" Connor asked

"How about, you share some then I will. Tell me about you. Even though your sister has told me about you, I need your point of view" I said and put my chin in my hand while looking at Connor

"Oh really" He laughed, I nodded "Hmm, well i'm 23, about to be 24. I have an old truck I got when I was 15. Looks like we have the same year truck. Uh, I played baseball in highschool and rode in the rodeo roping steer. I still sometimes ride in the rodeo and I do enjoy roping. My horses name is Chevy. Don't laugh. I think that's it"

"He's single and into brunettes" Braxton laughed

"Shut up. Maybe it's time to try blonds" Connor said

"Blonds are dumb. Red heads are weird. Black haired girls... I don't know. Then you have colors, they're mentally unstable" Braxton said

"Well damn" I replied "Guess I shouldn't dye my hair huh"

"No" He said

"Hm, maybe i'll tell Marie would should break open the box dye we bought" I smirked

"Oh no, you guys didn't" Connor said

"I make no promises" I said smiling

"What did you guys buy" Connor asked

"I'm not telling you and she won't either. We only have a few more days here, you can't stop us" I said

"Oh your sister befriended a feisty one" Braxton said

"Did you just call me feisty" I laughed

"Yes. When you drink you get feisty. You were nice at their house" He laughed

"I just get ballsy because I have no social skills. Anxiety" I smiled

"Yeah, I see that. Makes sense why you two are friends" Connor said

I smiled and bobbed my head side to side. The two boys laughed and I felt my phone buzz.

Marie: It's Alex, Marie is trashed can you ask Connor to call their dad. Also how's it going

Me: Will do. We're chatting. Idk what the people look like so if it worked who knows

"Hey, your sisters trashed. You might want to call your dad" I said

Connor looked over towards the table and nodded. I glanced back and yeah, she's done. Oi I gotta ride in the back with her, great.

"He'll be here in 20 minutes" Connor said

Me: Their dad will be here in 20

Marie: Got it!

I swiped out of my messages after hovering over my mothers name and not replying to the message I ignored. If I answer now it'll be spiteful and make people angry. I may be giggly but I have common sense. I'll just go on Snapchat and take pictures because, yup. I sent a selfie to Marie, and our one friend from college. Yes Marie and I are social at school and aren't hermits, most of the time. I had a snapchat from my one cousin too. I like this cousin, she moved away from New York because her mom and dad we giving her s**t about something. She came and visited me at college the one day. We posted pictures and sent the family in an up roar. Gotta love it.

"Who are you talking to?" Connor asked looking over my shoulder

"My one cousin who doesn't like to cause issues" I said

"Nice" He replied

"Here, smile" I said and l turned my phone towards him

He leaned over and put his arm on the back of my chair. I leaned over slightly so the back of my shoulder was touching his and took the selfie.

"Aw that's a cute picture" I smiled

"Yeah?" Connor laughed

"Mhmm" I nodded

Saving the photo, I sent it to my cousin and Marie and locked my phone. Then the bartender put a shot in front of me, as well as Connor and Braxton.

"Closing out" Connor said

"Alright I'll grab your tab and be right back." The bar tender said

"Is your dad here?" Braxton asked

"Yeah, he's outside" Connor replied

"Am I still coming to your house?" He asked

"If you want. Think we're going to the Rodeo tomorrow. I'm not riding, was going to, but decided against it." Connor said

"Yeah, it's been a hot minuted since i've gone" Braxton said

"I guess you can sit up front then. I'll deal with those two" Connor laughed

"Hey, i'm not bad. I could be, but i'm not" I said

"Well you're going in the middle then" He said

"Rude" I huffed

He just smiled and the two boys stood up. They looked at me and I probably had a confused look on my face. I just zoned out.

"Becca. Are you coming?" Connor asked

"Oh, yeah" I laughed

Getting off the chair, I stood there for a second until I knew I was stable then took a step. I guess they didn't trust me because I had an arm around my waist on the third step. Rude. Looking at Connor he gave me a smile and we got to Marie and her friends.

"Alright Marie, we'll see you before you leave" Alex said

"I'll miss you girls" Marie pouted

They all said some type of I miss you's and Braxton helped her up. I waved to the group of girls and Alex gave me a smile. I did the same and we walked outside. This time he had his hand on my lower back. Coming outside, we got lead over to a pick up and and Braxton walked Marie to the passenger side.

"Alright. Hop in and don't die." Connor said

"Hey, i'm not drunk" I replied

"Mhmm up" He said

I shot him a glare and got into the truck. Marie was placed next to me and Braxton got in the passenger seat as Connor climbed in next to me.

"So how was it" Their dad said

"Good" The boys replied

"How about you girls" He asked

"It was good" I said "I think she would agree"

Marie just smiled and leaned her head on the window. And now i'm extremely tired. Looking at Connor, he looked back at me then I put my head in my hands.

"You good?" He asked

"Tired" I mumbled

"What?" He laughed

"I'm tired" I said sitting up

"Oh, we're 20 minutes from home" He laughed

"I need gas so it's gonna be longer" Their dad said

I sighed and Braxton looked back at me and laughed. Looking at Marie, she was out cold.

"Do you want a pillow?" Connor asked

"Yes" I said looking at him

"You can use me as a pillow if you want. So you don't look like you're gonna be sick" He replied

"Oh" I said

I sat there for a little bit then leaned on Connor. Pulling my phone back out, I went on snapchat and Connor took my phone.

"Hey" I said

"What. Maybe I want to add you" He said

"You could ask nicely" I huffed

"Oh add me to" Braxton laughed

"Okay" Connor said

I watched as Connor found himself and Braxton and added them on my snapchat. Then swiped to my messages.

"You have a snapchat" He said

I tapped it and it was a picture of my cousins dog and it said 'did you get a boyfriend or a one night stand'. I laughed. Connor also laughed. Taking my phone back, I took a picture of the windshield because it's dark and replied back.

'No and No. It's Marie's brother you t**t. I don't like people enough for that'

"Did you just call your cousin a t**t?" Connor asked

"Yes" I replied

"So nice" Braxton laughed

I glanced over at him and put my phone back in my pocket. Okay, i'm ready for bed now.
