"Well have fun at work i'll see you later babes" I smiled

"You two have a good night. I guess you have company so you're not alone for once" Marie smiled

I shrugged and stretched out on the couch.

"So, have you started looking for a hot date yet" Connor asked sitting next to me

"Nope" I laughed

"Whelp pull out that phone and start searching" He laughed

"Jeez you're more excited then me" I said

He laughed and I pulled up tinder on my phone. We started swiping through and he gave me insights on who's an ass hole. A lot of them were. Then Braxton came up.

"Ohh, your friend" I laughed

"I forgot he had a Tinder" Connor laughed, his face is slightly red too

"Can I swipe right for shits and giggles" I chuckled

"Go for it" He laughed after a slight pause

I did and kept swiping through, I already have 3 matches. Nice, and look who just popped up.

"ooh look at this one. I think this is a left" I nodded

"Wow you swipe right for Braxton but not me" Connor asked

"I'm kidding I'm kidding" I laughed

Swipping right on the boy, we went through five more guys and i'm up to 5 whole matches.

"Who matched with you?" Connor asked

Tapping the icon, I read the names and looked at Connor.

"So, Mr. I forgot he had a tinder, when did you two find me on here" I asked

"When you came for sping break" He sighed and his face was beat red

"Wow" I said "Really?.. Both of you"

"Yeah. He found you first and we looked at all your pictures. Then you came up on mine." Connor said

"You guys are dorks" I said

"Hey we weren't trying to hook up with you though, those other three. Probably are" Connor nodded

"I mean, that's what tinder is for. Now, out of these three. Who is most likely going to try and be a stalker" I said

"All of them" Connor replied

"What? Seriously?" I asked

"Yup, that one drives by all his ex's houses every day. This one I work with and he constantly talks about how his hook ups never text him back even though he texts them every day. He stocks so I don't have to see him much. And this one, I think Marie was talking to him and he wouldn't leave her alone" Connor nodded

"And you didn't want to let me know BEFORE I swiped" I said

"Whoops" He smiled

"I hate you" I said

"No you don't. You think i'm sexy" Connor said

"No, I said Braxton was sexy. Never said you were" I replied

"Wow" Connor said

He stood up off the couch and walked to the front door.

"Where are you going" I asked

"Home. Where the rudness is not around" He said

"Bruh you literally just set me up for stalkers. Get your ass back over here or so help me god" I said

"Nope" He laughed

"Well now I really hate you" I replied

"I mean, I will stay. If you go get ice cream with me" He asked

"I'm down for ice cream" I said

"C'mon" Connor said

Getting off the couch I followed Connor out to his truck and hoped in the passenger seat. We went into town and came to a tiny ice cream parlor. Walking inside we got in line and both ordered cones. Heading back out, Connor put his tail gate down and we both sat down.

"So, are those guys really stalkers?" I asked

"Yeah" Connor said

"Ugh" I sighed "I'm gonna have to get a carry permit for this state aren't I"

"Are you planning on shooting them?" He asked

"I mean, no. But I would like to at least have the threat. I also keep a bat in my truck so I can use that" I smiled

"Okay then" Connor laughed

We both finished our cones and just sat there for a little bit and watched people come and go. Then Connor got a phone call and put it on speaker.

"Sup" He said

"Hey, I think Becca found our tinder profiles" Braxton said

"Yeah I know" He laughed

"Did she say anything?" He asked

"She laughed" Connor said

"You two are dorks" I said

"Oh, you're with her. And i'm on speaker. Hi Becca" Braxton said

"Hi buddy" I smiled

"What are you two up to" Braxton asked

"Out for ice cream" I said and smiled at Connor

"Oh so you guys went out on a lunch date and an ice cream date.. So next is breakfast and dinner right" Braxton said

"Sure" Connor and I said then we laughed

"Only day you two could do that is what. Sunday? And you have family breakfast" Braxton laughed

"Maybe" Connor said shrugging

"Well, i'll let you go. I saw the notification and was like oh s**t she knows" He laughed

The two boys said bye and I looked at Connor..

"What" He said

"So, when's our breakfast and dinner date?" I asked

"Oh are you crushing on me now?" He laughed

"I could ask you the same thing" I said crossing my arms

He just did that side smile head shake thing and hopped off the tail gate. Holding his hand out, I grabbed it and hopped off as well.

"So, when are you joining the rodeo?" Connor asked

"Never" I smiled and walked to the passenger door.

Hopping in, I saw Connor looking at something then he got in as well. He had an annoyed look on his face and we started driving.

"Did me saying never really piss you off that much?" I asked

"Huh? Oh, no. That didn't piss me off. I'm not pissed off" He said

"Well, you look annoyed. Your jaws all tight, your eye brows are furrowed, and your death gripping the steering wheel" I said

"Has anyone ever told you you're very observant" Connor said glancing over at me

"Your sister has many times cause I do the same thing to her. That's about it. Anyone else just called it weird" I shrugged

"Aww you poor thing" Connor said

"I wasn't very liked growing up" I nodded "Maybe that's why every guy I dated ended badly"

"Hey you're not that bad" He laughed

"Well thanks" I said rolling my eyes

"Anytime. Would you like me to drop you off? Or..." Connor said and trailed off

"What time is it?" I asked

"A little after 7" He said

"Do you want to hang out for a little? You don't have to if you have things to do at home. But, if you want to" I said

"We'll see" He replied

I nodded and just twiddled my thumbs as we drove back to the house. Pulling up he parked and I hopped out. Walking up to the door, I looked back at the boy and he was still in his truck. On the phone, okay then. I stood there for a second before unlocking the door and heading inside, I guess if he wants to stay he'll come in. Going into the kitchen, I grabbed a drink out of the fridge then went and sat on the couch. Turning on the tv, I scrolled through the channels and Tombstone was on. This is a good movie, it was made in '93 and has Sam Elliot in it. It's also just starting so i'm happy. After a couple minutes, I heard the door open and looked over to see Connor walking in.

"Hey" He said

"Sup" I replied

"Would you care if I joined you still?" He asked

I patted the seat next to me and he walked around and sat down.

"Whatcha watching?" He asked

"Tombstone. From 1993. Now shush" I said

"Okay okay. There's a commercial now though" Connor said as it did infact go to commercial.

"I gotta get changed" I yelled jumping over the back of the couch

I heard Connor laughing as I ran away. I changed into pajama shorts and an oversized tee before quickly using the bathroom then running back out to the living room where Connor was in my spot.

"Excuse me" I said

"Are you wearing pants?" He asked

"No, i'm wearing shorts. Now what are you doing in my spot?" I asked

He just smiled and held his arm out. I looked at him then heard the movie come back on. Sighing, I sat next to the boy and put my feet up next to his while leaning on his shoulder. Grabbing the blanket off the back of the couch, I put that over our legs and we continued to watch the movie. You know, I have work tomorrow and this is an almost 3 hour movie. I'm so going to be exhausted tomorrow but it's fine.
