"Of course." I smiled half a smile.
Then Lorcan turned sideways so that he could exchange places with me in the doorway. For a moment his dark yellow eyes looked at me. My nose could smell his strong scent. His eyes drifted lower to my lips, then he smiled. Finally we exchanged places, and he took his place next to Mia. I quickened my pace, not wanting to be in his eyes anymore. Taya followed without saying a word.
"Did you notice?" Taya finally said when we entered the library.
"What?" I glanced at her as I picked up a floor mop.
" I could feel the tension in the air when Alpha looked at you." Taya barely batted an eye.
"You mean Lorcan?" I clarified.
" Yeah, I don't like to mention his name." Taya rolled her eyes.
