William didn't say anything and soon disappeared from our sight. When the lift beeped, the doors opened, and fortunately for me there was no one inside. I stepped inside, and Lorcan took his place at the side of me and pressed the high button. A soft melody was playing in the lift, I tried not to look at what Lorcan was doing at the moment. But I could feel his heavy gaze on my shoulders. The elevator doors opened wide as the elevator swayed once more. A huge meeting room met my eyes. In the middle was a large wooden table with exactly four chairs behind it. To my surprise, the meeting room was still empty. Lorcan gave me a gentle push to get out of the lift. I must have been too concentrated on exploring the room I was currently in.
