Freya's Point of view: I was crouched down on the bare concrete of the basement floor. My vision was still obscured, face and arm heavily bleeding and I was still not being able to call forth my wolf. I felt deflated and believed that this would be the end for me. I couldn't see any way out of the dire situation that I was in. Unless my vision or wolf senses miraculously reappeared within the next few seconds I knew that I wouldn't be able to protect myself from her next attack. I held my blood covered hand in front of me for protection then used my other hand to feel behind me as I shuffled backwards. I didn't want her being able to sneak up behind me so I decided to back myself up against the wall. Every time I inched back a little I could hear her feet take a few steps forward.
