Third POV.
"Do you really have to leave today?" Leila asked as she saw them put their luggages in the car.
She was reluctant to part ways with her. After all, since when didn't Elana take her with her when she was going to meetings?
"Sorry love but we do," Aiden said but Leila ignored him and looked at her sister.
"Even though I wanted to take you with me, I couldn't. The council said that when I am gone, you should be practises your fighting skills so that when I come back, we can continue with the gifts training," Elana said making Leila understand somethings.
"Don't worry, we won't go for too long. We will be back in three days, Marcus said while patting Leila's back to prevent her from crying since he knew that that was so hard for her.
