It's like they didn't understand what I was saying at that moment because they just looked at me. Next thing I know, they booked it for the Healers. Running behind them, I realized that I don't think I have ever seen them run so fast. We all got there in minutes and we all stood by my brother. My Father gets a good look at his son for the first time in a week. " Oh my god Declan, how could I not have noticed this, a blind person could see something was wrong." Hanging his head in shame at the thought of being so busy that he didn't see something wrong with his son and heir. Looking over at my wife and queen, she is staring at our son with tears in her eyes. "Head Healer what is wrong with my son?" "I don't know for sure yet, Your Majesty, but if I had to guess I would say some kind of poison." Looking horrified at the Healer I yell loudly "Are you telling me someone is poisoning my brother!" My brother despite being royal and Heir is one of the nicest man alive. He never gets into fights, is always level headed, treats the staff with respect and never sleeps around. We have both been waiting for our mates. Not only that, with him being an heir, he knows that women only want him for his status. Every woman wants to be queen. OK, every normal prissy woman does. I definitely do not. I am quite comfortable in my leathers with a sword, then I am in a dress with a teacup. My point is he doesn't want drama when it comes time he meets his mate. We have both witnessed what happens when someone with a high status sleeps around then fines their mate. It's nothing but drama and people get killed or imprisoned. It's crazy, and not something we all want to deal with. Looking at the Healer, I ask the question everyone is dreading to hear. "If you had to guess what kind of poison?" Looking at the Royal Family he says what every fae dreads. "Your,, majesty I believe the Crown Prince was poisoned with Iron." I do the one thing I was told never to do infront of my mother she frowns upon itespecially for a princess. Yep you guessed it. I cussed. "ARE YOU F*****G KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!" Mother gives me a dirty look but doesn't say anything. Iron is the worst thing for Fae. It could kill us in high doses.Shaking my head and rubbing my eyes, I looked at the Healer. I asked. "What can be done and what are his chances?" "His chances are pretty high. Actually, we caught it in time. I would say he was given small amounts over these past two weeks, so it wasn't noticeable in his food or drinks. I took blood to make sure that was definitely what it was. As you know, there is no cure for iron, so I am flushing out his system and once that is done we will fill his body with healing magic, then give him herbs to help his stomach so he can eat and gain weight. After the healing, his color should go back to normal and he should feel a lot better. He will have to take it easy for a couple of weeks. No sparring or any other activities, just rest and you'll be better in no time." My parents look at the healer and thank them, they look at my brother and tell him what I know he is gonna hate. "You will stay in the room next to ours till you are back on your feet." My mother says to my brother as he stares at them horrified. I laugh at my brother. "Sucks to be you big brother, sucks to be you." Our parents look at us confused it is my father who asks "Hey, what's that supposed to mean, there is nothing wrong with, staying in our hall!" I laugh at my brothers, still horrified face then he says something that has me almost dying. "Your kidding me right! Dad, you and mom still get it on like your newly mated. I do not want to hear you guys having crazy s*x all night! That is horrifying! Do you know how many times LeLe and I have caught you and mom in the act? ALL OVER THE CASTLE!!!" I fell out of the chair laughing at not only my brother's words but my parents' beet-red and horrified faces. My brother looks at me with a pouty face. I swear sometimes he is still a little kid. "Sis, please help me out here. Can't I at least stay with you?" "No way are you staying with me, nope. You are a slob and you will leave your stuff all over my room. You're supposed to take it easy and I wont be able to find anything! What's the matter, bro, you don't want mom and her pretty ladies-maids fussing over you?" My brother gave me a nasty look. "Shut up LeLe! You don't have to stay in bed and be subjected to hearing Mom and Dad bonking!" My brother yells and I just laugh "Your totally right about that, but at least you get a break from training and your Heir duties. Take this time to rest up, bro, I have a feeling you are gonna need it." My parents and brother looked at me with a confused look. "What do you mean? LeLe" My father asked me.I took a moment to get my thoughts together, being it's hard to think about to be honest. Looking at my parents, I tell them my fears. "Declan was poisoned, dad, that means someone is trying to kill him, and I have a feeling we have a traitor."My parents look at me for a moment and nod their heads, because they know my feelings are normally spot on. Dad looks at me then out the window. "Honestly, Ainsley, I don't want to admit it, but I believe you're right. Your intuition powers are getting stronger, I take it?" "Yes they are and it's been getting stronger over this past month. I thought it was just because of the rouge Fae, but now I'm not so sure." You see I am an Elemental battle Fae. What that means is that I can control the elements and I can pick up a weapon and become an expert in weeks. I also have a power called danger intuition. Like a shifter, I call feel when danger is approaching. My parents actually think we have latent shifter DNA somewhere, so there is a chance one of us could shift if the Fae Goddess feels we must. Right now, my intuition is going off and I am worried. Not very many people have access to our kitchens and living spaces. Pacing around, I noticed the room was quiet. Looking around, I saw why. Dad was staring at the window in deep thought. My brother finally fell asleep and my mother is talking to the Healer.
