Ferris's lips stiffened slightly when he heard her call him "brother-in-law."
Mandy shot him a sarcastic glance. "That's all in the past. Don't tell me you really think I'm still holding a grudge against you for leaving without saying goodbye."
"And if you like this piece of junk, keep it. And please, do me a favor. Stop bothering me with your misplaced concern."
When Mandy was in a bad mood, her words were even more cutting than usual.
She knew all too well the inherent flaws in men, so she deliberately hit where it hurt.
Men were like dogs, they liked to pee to mark their territory. How could they stand it when someone they once liked took a liking to someone else?
Ferris might have liked her in the past, but definitely not now.
