Leo’s POV
When I got off the phone with Alaric, I went to Sacramento to get her a new phone. When I got back, I packed a small bag for me and Piper, as I knew she would sleep there for the night. Alaric told me the situation was horrible. The people are malnourished and suffering from poor living conditions, while Harvey and Damien are living a high life. What pieces of s**t, letting their people suffer while they worry about their own needs.
After I packed a bag for Piper and me, I took it out to the kitchen to get a bottle of water. Nana had a container in her hand and shoved it into the bag.
“I know my great-granddaughter. She will need these tonight.” I pulled the container out and opened the lid. Inside, there were several cookies for Piper.
