Leo’s POV
I am worried about Piper. She has been throwing up, but she is refusing to see the doctor. When we were flying back home, she told me she would see the doctor when we get home. But that all changed when we got to the airport, and Jason warned her of a bounty being out for her. She didn’t want to go, wanting to stay with the convoy back to the pack. Instead, Kass teleported us home, with much of Piper’s chagrin wanting to stay.
After an hour of being home, we find out that attackers destroyed the convoy, killing everyone there. Jack, Jason, Angelica, and Clair, along with Angelica’s mate, Moneo. The pack lost their best warriors, leaders, friends, and family. Angelica was Tovi’s best friend since high school, and Rocky lost his cousin. Piper lost her role models, her best friend
