We both smiled when we saw Cassian and greeted him with a handshake from dad and a hug from me. The guards allowed our guests through the gates, with dad and I riding with Cassian. “I’m sorry for the intrusion, but it is better for us to travel at night,” he smiled. “We provided our own buses, equipped to allow us to sleep during the day and be protected from the harmful light of the sun.” “We will accommodate your buses, so you have somewhere to sleep.” I told him. We drove up to the house, with the buses hanging back, waiting on the orders to set up. “There is a place just inside the woods that is clear but also protects your buses from the sunlight.” “Thank you, Piper,” Cassian smiled. We got out of the SUV in front of the house, and my family was already out front to greet everyone.
