Alexandersat in his car trying to figure out what to do. He didn't have snow clothes with him or a vehicle that could go out in the rough terrain.
He startled hard when his phone rang. "Yes?" he answered. Comforted when he heard Lucious' voice.
"Any updates?"
"She was at the cabin, but she took off on a snowmobile."
"Hold on..."
Computer keys clacked in the background.
"There is a snowmobile rental place 8 miles from the cabin and I'm sure you can get a snowsuit at the lodge. There's a*****e there."
"I'm sure rentals are closed."
"They open at 6am tomorrow."
"I'm running out of time..." Alexander was growing more and more anxious. His nerves felt like they were about to snap.
"What do you mean, running out of time?" Lucious sounded suspicious and suddenly on edge.
