Her eyes fluttered and then opened wide. She coughed causing blood to spatter onto her lips. She groaned.
"Shhh, stay still. Don't move or speak yet," Alexander said.
It had been hours since he began the process to save her. She'd lost too much blood and continued to lose it, so he'd turned her and her body had begun to heal. She just didn't have the energy to heal quickly.
The Alpha had woken, so Lucious had taken it upon himself to restrain him.
"We have company," Lucious said.
"You're a dead man!" the Alpha spat. "You attacked an Alpha and took my prey. The Lycan counsel will eat you alive!"
"You attacked my mate and almost killed her. With the way you keep looking at her, I know you weren't even close to being done with her. That's a death sentence."
