Separating

As the days passed into weeks, Amelia seemed to be getting along with the changes better than before. Her heightened senses were a lot at first. She could hear every pin drop, every little rustling in the grass and fly buzzing set her on edge. However, she was beginning to adjust to it all. Her body had begun to get used to its new abilities. There was one thing Alexander hadn't talked to her yet. He looked at her as she sat on the couch scrolling something on her phone. She looked beautiful with her focused face and her wild hair surrounding her. Alexander sat next to her and cleared his throat. "There's something I need to talk to you about..." he said softly. "What is it? You don't look happy," she responded. "Have I upset you?" He shook his head. "No, it's just not a fun subject."
