For her first day of work, Alice wore beige slacks and a white sleeveless shirt that had a little bow tie. At reception, a bright-eyed blonde rose, dressed in a form-fitting pencil skirt. “Under God!”
Alice replied, “Our Vindicator.”
“Look at the drone above me for a moment.” The woman pointed. Alice stared at the little white drone and heard a click. “Good. Here is your badge.”
The woman escorted her to a department on the second floor where the walls were painted black. They took a left, then a right, then walked straight through a cubicle maze. When Alice approached her desk, she saw the blueprint of the Enforcer armor signed by her father and the blueprint of a combatant android in the stream hovering just above the desk.
