“W-What are you guys doing here?” Both Seven and Arlo exchange a glance before looking back at me—like I just asked whether water is wet. I shift my weight from one foot to the other, almost forgetting why I came here in the first place. The silence between us is heavy with unspoken judgment, which, coming from these two, is rich.
