Leyk can't seem to hold back a chuckle after my reply. Setting the water bottle down, he grabs both sides of my stool and swivels it so that I'm completely facing him.
"Fine, I'll tell you. Just because you look cute." He breathes out. "My family has to attend this monthly gathering. Nothing fancy. And they've been asking who I'd bring as my date."
