After closing the door, I begin dragging my gaze all around the room for that specific figure. Thankfully, there are no signs of Shanon anywhere so I'm guessing she can appear and vanish in command. Less problem to worry about then. I mean, she is somewhat the assistant of the author so it's to be expected she'd have some magical vodoo power. Like making herself invisible.
