I really am not a fan of horror films.  So as I blanch and twist in my seat while the screen portrays a body getting sliced in half, I pray that this’ll be the last time I let anyone pick a movie.  I need to use the bathroom.  Planting my hand on the sofa, I give myself a push and stride out of the living room. We’ve already spent thirty minutes engaged on that movie and Jia still hasn’t returned.  Walking through the hallway, I eventually reach the bathroom and close the door behind me. I’ve been consuming a lot of drinks while watching that movie as a way of distracting myself. Did it work? Absolutely.
