Elena was surprised he'd put aside all his work to make a special trip for this. She was about to speak when another car pulled up behind them. Elena watched a woman emerge from the car, her expression instantly turning icy. Felix followed her gaze and saw Angelina.
Angelina's steps were unsteady as she got out of the car, her face pale. She seemed not to have recovered from her recent suicide attempt.
Elena immediately recalled Reela's words. She'd said Angelina cried all day, heartbroken that the man she'd loved for so long had been taken by her own sister. Therefore, since Elena now had the man her sister wanted, she should hand over her shares as compensation.
