Elena observed Felix’s reaction.
“What’s wrong? You don’t like it?”
Not knowing much about watches, she’d simply bought it based on its style and price. Was it not Felix’s style?
Just as she was pondering this, Felix gripped the watch tightly. “I like it very much, but this watch is worth over ten million dollars. Where did you get the money to buy such an expensive watch?”
The one sentence left Elena speechless.
‘Crap.’
Only Isabella knew about her being Alice. In Felix’s eyes, she had just graduated from university not long ago, had a very public and messy broken engagement with Edgar, and now she was married and living here, with no job and no time to earn money.
Elena stammered, unable to answer.
