"Isn't it my duty as your private secretary to drive my boss to and from work?" Sebastian asked.
He glanced at Caroline in the rearview mirror. He flashed a charming smile he had practiced in the mirror that morning, trying to look effortless.
Deep down, he was panicking. Adrian Sinclair's appearance at dinner last night had set off every alarm bell in his head. That man was a heavyweight—old money, powerful, and obviously interested. If Sebastian didn't mark his territory now, he would be squeezed out of the picture completely. Caroline needed to see him.
Caroline sighed, looking up from her tablet. "Fine. But keep it professional, Sebastian. In the office and during the commute, I am Ms. Lowells."
