Amelia glanced at the private room in front of her, then turned to the waiter.
"Are you sure there's no mistake? I remember booking an outdoor table."
The waiter kept a friendly smile. "Miss Clarke, no mistake. The gentleman you're meeting requested the change to a private room."
Amelia felt a dull throb at her temple.
Forcing a tight smile, she said, "Okay, thanks. I'll head in on my own."
Once the waiter walked off, Amelia turned and went straight to the restroom.
She immediately called Olivia.
"Olivia, where are you now?"
"I'm at the hospital, doing my shift. Why? You feeling off?"
Amelia paused for a couple seconds. "No, it's fine. Was hoping to grab dinner with you, but let's do it another time."
"Sure, just say the word."
