  Anselme really didn't see that coming from Simon.   He raised an eyebrow, glancing back and forth between Simon and Amelia with a hint of amusement.   "Simon, don't tell me you're feeling sorry for her?"   Vivian's eyes were already turning red, and she gave Simon a pitiful look.   Simon's whole vibe suddenly turned cold.   "You're overthinking it, Anselme. I'm just stating the facts."   With that, he shut the conversation down and turned to look at Vivian.   "How's your arm?"   Tears rolled down Vivian's cheeks as she wiped them away, glaring at Simon, visibly upset.   "So, you do still care about me, huh?"   Simon wasn't in the best mood. Seeing how pale Amelia looked had him all tied up inside.   So when Vivian acted like that, he just replied with a hint of irritation.
