Amelia gave a small nod.
"Yeah, I've thought it over and decided to resign."
She stood up and headed into the bathroom, never once glancing at Simon.
Not that she had to—his reaction was easy to imagine. That face wasn't gonna be pleasant today.
But since she'd already said what she came to say, she didn't bother explaining more.
