The morning light beaming through the open blinds rested on my sleeping face, efficiently waking me up. I groaned and sat up while rubbing my hurting eyes. Even though my eyes weren't open, they still burned from looking in that direction. The light made it seem as if my eyelids were made of translucent paper, allowing no protection and letting the light right through. As I stretched my muscles, my joints cracked and a yawn escaped my lips. It was quite chilly in the room.
