Ella's POV
It was a sunny Monday morning. I was woken up by Henrietta who was scattering everywhere looking for God knows what this time around, that's always Henrietta. She likes tossing her things wherever she wants, then begins looking for it.
"What the hell Henrietta!" I yelled.
"Sorry, I'm looking for my sneakers" she said, still scattering.
"I kept it in the back of the wardrobe" I said.
"Oh okay. Found it" she said.
"Good riddance. Now I can't go back to bed. Thank you" I said.
"Get your ass out of that bed" Henrietta yelled.
"Fine! I'm awake. Are you happy now?" I asked.
"You look so beautiful this morning, Ella."
"f**k you Henrietta" I said, still dizzy.
I sat on my bed and took a glimpse at the alarm clock close to my bed. It was past 8, and I knew Henrietta was going to get a query because she was mad late. I walked to the kitchen and there she was making a sandwich.
"I hope you are aware that you are late."
"Of course I know that, Ella, I didn't wake up early, and thanks to you, who couldn't wake me up.
What's your problem? I just woke up. Don't put this on me!
"Shut up Ella, I woke you up."
"You mean your noise? Maybe tomorrow you are going to look for your panties."
"Oh my God!" Henrietta screamed.
"What? I asked keenly.
"Speaking of panties. I ain't wearing one, I forgot to wear s**t! " She said, running to her closet.
I sighed, typical Henrietta. I picked up my brush, and my desk phone was ringing. That was odd, I said to myself. I walked and received the call.
"Hello, this is Ella Marks" I said, placing the toothbrush in my mouth.
"You are qualified for a job vacancy as a housekeeper on Calvary Streets in Dennis Mansion" the caller said.
"What? I exclaimed excitedly.
"Oh my goodness, thank you, thank you" I said, rejoicing.
"Do come to the agency to complete the agreement"
"I will thank you" I said, dropping the phone.
"Why are you shouting?" Henrietta said, arranging her skirt.
"I got the job!" I said.
"I got the job" I said, rejoicing.
"Wow! Oh my God" Henrietta said, hugging me.
"Congratulations Ella" Henrietta said
"Thank you. I'm so happy girl" I said to Henrietta.
"Yes Ella, I can see that, and I'm happy for you too, but I need to start heading to work before I lose my job" Henrietta said, putting on her blue jacket.
"Yes Henrietta, you go to work. I need to prepare to go to the agency" I said, still rejoicing.
"Okay girl, I made you a sandwich and coffee" Henrietta said
"Thank you, Henrietta" I said thankfully.
"And Ella? Henrietta called
"Yes?" I replied.
"Your breath stinks" she said, laughing as she walked out of the room.
"f**k you Henrietta!" I said as I smelled my breath
"Eww she's right" I said as I returned to brushing my teeth.
