I turned at the young voice and frowned, puzzled, at Daphne. She was preparing food with Addison in the kitchen, and I was making a sandwich to pack for my lunch so I could hide in the empty rooms all day. I’d heard Knox and Nico in Canon’s office, which meant they were probably not leaving the hotel today, and the last thing I wanted to do was run into them.
My body still burned with embarrassment when I thought of how I’d been with them. My legs were still sore, and even though the need wasn’t quite as all-consuming, the want was still there.
Would it ever go away?
