Alora POV Aiden returning home safe filled me with so much happiness and relief, especially seeing him in one piece, but I can see his sadness from where we are waiting. The closer he got to us, I understand why our link was flooded with so much sadness. In his arms laid a body wrapped in ceremonial wrappings, and my heart breaks at the sight.
