Seeing my beautiful Alora less and less the last few days has been horrendous.

Yes, I know we need to get prepared to take over the pack, but I miss her so much. When I do see her, we are either eating or sleeping.

Taking over the pack from our father is a massive responsibility, but one that we have trained for all our lives.

It's strange because it is a werewolf law that if Alpha twins are taking over a pack, then the first to find their mate would be Alpha, and the second twin would become the beta.

Me and Aiden share an amazing bond that we had already said that we would share the responsibility of the Alpha position, and our mates would share the Luna position. We knew we would be best working together to lead our pack, finding our mate was a blessing, and I'd never have it any other way.

Alora will make the best Luna, she loves with a pure heart and I know she will lead beside us. She has been helping my mum with the Luna work, and Mum has commented that Alira is amazing. How wonderful she is with the pack members and her ideas with the orphanage we have. I knew she had a good heart. I love watching her play in the gardens with the pups, laughing, and playing games.

She has also taken Isla under her wing, making sure she feels safe and part of the family. I'll be forever grateful to Isla for saving my father, and I was more than willing to treat her as a sister, especially at my mothers request. Mum had always wanted a daughter, and now she has two, as she says.

"I wonder why she has agreed to the spa?" Aiden asks, confused as Alora cuts the link, we know she has never gone to the spa and always opted to train instead. "Goddess knows. Maybe because everyone else wants to go, " I think out loud "yeah probably" he sighs, knowing our little mate hates letting people down.

"We have to get to the office," he sighs, and we set off.

We have some paperwork to sign so we are able to take over the pack.

We have trained since as far back as I can remember, and we are more than ready to take that step, I'm also aware that Alora is worried about becoming our Luna. She is worried that she hasn't had enough training and that she will let everyone down, but I see her potential, her strength, and love to lead beside us.

We enter our soon to be office to dad and Lou laughing. I think they are definitely ready to step down and retire. They have plans to travel with their mates, and it's completely understandable as they had taken over the pack when they were just 18 years old.

"Hey, we have some paperwork to sign and then just a few details to go over for tonight." Dad said, looking like a weight is being lifted. "What is it?" Aiden asked as we shut the door and walked to the desk. "It's the ownership of the pack, the responsibilities of what your positions will entail," dad said, pointing to a pile of papers, "and this pile here" he said pointing to a different pile " is the agreements we have in place with other packs" we nod ok "and this pile" he pointed to the last pile of papers "are the issues and plans to help them with any problems they have" he said and I look at the desk and know we are in here for the rest of the day. We have to go through everything. We have to ring our allied packs and also assist those who are asking for help.

We need to notify them all that we are taking over from our father and reassure them that we intend to still help them.

We have been stuck in this office for hours, but we are making progress.

"A few more calls, then we will be done," dad said, looking up from the list. "And your mother is starting to worry we won't be done in time," he chuckles, and I know mum is linking him. Mums great at organising and has a clear head until it gets closer to the time, then she obsesses over the smallest detail, wanting everything perfect "she starting to stress?" I ask with a knowing look at dad "yes but everything will be amazing as usual" dad smiles "she over analyses" Aiden says absentmindedly, holding the phone to his ear while he's dialing the next number.

"I'll have to get her all relaxed," dad said with a knowing smirk. Honestly, some information sharing from my parents is too much, and yes, we are used to these kinds of comments, but I still groan, hoping my brain doesn't leak out of my ears from hearing it.

"Seriously, dad!!" Aiden groans at same time as I groan "what it's perfectly nnormal" he tries to say as Lou chuckles "no, no it's not" I say wiping my hands down my face "of course it is, we will never be too old for me to make your mother scr-" Lou is still laughing and both me and Aiden cover our ears "WOAH.. WOAH.. WOAH..WE DON'T NEED TO HEAR ANY MORE" I shout over whatever dad was going to say, hoping that if he carries on talking, I'll not hear him. All I can hear is both Lou and my dad pissing themselves, thinking it's hilarious. I shake my head at them and wonder if I should escape while I can.

"We will leave the last few bits for you both, I have something else better to do" Dad said with a wink and walks to the door "see you both later" Lou says following dad out "yeah see you later" I say as the door shuts.

"Seriously, why does he do that?" Aiden asks just before the call gets picked up, and he's going through everything with the packs alpha.

He finishes up the call, and his eyes glaze over, but he looks amused. Well, that was until he looked nervous and his eyes clear.

"What's up?" I ask, hoping everything is ok. "Alora just cut me off," he groans and looks gutted. "What did you do?" he's obviously done something because our mate would never just cut him off.

"I was taking the piss that she went to spa," he said quietly. "So she cut the link?" I ask confused "no you i***t she cut me OFF. " he says like I should know a secret meaning to it. I have no idea what he's talking about and he must notice with my face "you're a f*****g i***t" he says like I'm thick "what??" I'm baffled "she was pissed that I had linked her to just take the piss" he explained but she must be more stressed with the ceremony than I thought because she wouldn't normally get pissed off with that, she would normally give us s**t back. "She must be stresed for the ceremony" I explained and he finally looked like he understood he was a dickhead because of what day it is "s**t she said I don't get any action and cut the link before I could respond and now she has blocked me" he is gutted "you absolute dickhead, I should go find her make sure she's ok" I stand ready to leave. "No I'll go, I've upset her I need to make sure she's ok" he says with determination but as I sit back down some of the determination turns to worry "what should I say? I don't want to make it worse" he asks, pacing infront of the door.

"Make sure you apologise and then ask if she's ok" I should go with him but we need to make sure everything is in order before tonight "do you want me to help here first?" I can see he's wanting to go to Alora but I can also tell he's putting it off a little "no it's fine I'll get this done, go and apologise and I'll see you later" and usher him out of the door before closing it.

He better not make it any worse. To be fair I've done a shitty job being a mate too, not once have I asked how Alora was feeling with the ceremony approaching. Yes we have talked about it and I know how she feels in general about becoming Luna but we've been so busy I'd not even asked how she feels now.

'You i***t' Xav muttered as I tried to focus back on the job at hand 'yeah you and me both' I reply and he hiffs and goes to the back of my mind.

I had just finished the last call when I feel my mates lust, through our bond.

It sends tingles over my body. Her body calling to mine, to bring her sweet release.

I know she is having fun with my brother and it's him that is going to bring her sweet release instead. And yes I know it's such a wierd thing to think and still get turn on but that is our life.

Don't get me wrong there is a slither of jealousy that I'm not included but I know he feels so bad for upsetting Alora so he's going to worship her.

'Huh, I want in too' Xav mutters grumpily that we are missing out 'I do too but they also need some time alone, just as we will' I try to ease him but he just growls and blocks himself away. I decide to do the same so I can concentrate on the task in front of me.

It takes me another hour and half before I can finally search for my mate. My mind has kept wondering to Alora, making me push myself faster to get done quicker.

I decided to search our room first, hoping she would still be there.

'Go to mate faster,' Xav says now at the forefront of my mind, eager to see Alora as I am.

I try to be polite when crossing paths with our pack members, but it's just a quick hello and no stopping. Well, that was until Ruby stopped me. My plan was to keep going, but she stopped in my way.

I grew up knowing Ruby, since she was about 6 years old as her mum became good friends with ours.

We didn't have the same circle of friends, but we spent time with her over the years.

Unfortunately, I had also slept with her a year or so ago, which I wouldn't have normally done, but I was drunk, and I woke up next to her the next morning. I couldn't apologise enough to her.

"Hey, what's up?" I ask, looking around her, I know it's rude, but I want to go to Alora."Hi.. I was just wondering if you could help me?" She asked, but in a throaty type of voice, I think she thinks it's sexy but it's really not. I haven't missed the way she looks at me and Aiden, always touching us and clinging to our arms, but we would never return her affection.

"I'm busy at the minute" I say and take a step to go around her "aww are you sure, it will only take a few minutes" she says and places her hand on my chest. "I dont have time, sorry," I say unapologetically, and I'm on my way before she can say anything else.

I hear her sigh behind me, but I miss Alora and can't wait to see her.

I walk into our room, and she is fast asleep, snuggled into Aiden.

I really don't want to wake her up and disturb her, especially as she must be tired.

I decided to shower first and wash my day away.

I lather up washing my body and hair clean as quickly as I can before I get out and towel dry.

I put on some clean boxers.

Walk to the sleeping duo and lay on the bed beside Alora, enjoying her naked body against mine. Aiden stirs awake "hey" he whispered sleepily, "hey, is she ok?" I whisper worried about her "yes, she wasn't actually angry. She was just winding me up" he smiled and I smiled along with him. I yawn feeling wiped out. "Get some sleep I'll have a shower and see if mum needs help for tonight" Aiden stretched. "Ok" and I pull Alora into me so he can stand up.
