Alora POV I don't understand.. I have no words at all as I stand in front of Maria, still clinging to the bars. She killed herself, and I'm not sure how to process this at all. Laz has unlocked the door and walks to Maria. He checks her pulse, but she is gone. Her face is still in pain, and so I focus on Laz instead. It looks like she is clinging on to the bars, but as Laz went to move her, I saw her skin fused to the bars, and I had to turn around, my stomach was struggling to keep what little food I had in there down. I felt Austins hands, but the guilt and sickness wouldn't budge. She killed herself because we lied.
