Welcome to the family, Again!

Alicia's POV

After all the pleasantries are exchanged, we're invited inside and shown our room. "Supper will be in twenty-five minutes" Mrs Johansson informs us. I shower and get dressed in a black, long sleeved, fitted Calvin Klein dress.

"you look lovely dear" Mrs Johansson compliments. "Thank you" I reply blushing. This woman is the epitome of beautiful and she's complementing me? Nothing of interest happens during dinner, the fact that I was just kidnapped wasn't even brought up; maybe they didn't want me to relive the experience and I appreciated that.

Raymond's POV

Thank god this is over, well it's not over; I still have to go kill that son of a biitch but at least Alicia is back safely to me. I'm gazing at her sleeping figure in of my parents guest room, she is so uniquely beautiful, her skin just shimmers as if its covered in gold dust. It's perfect! She's perfect!

flashback

"Please, please....." he stutters begging for his pathetic life. This motherffuckker thinks he has the right to beg for his life after what he has done to my wife? It's laughable!

"I swear it wasn't me, I had nothing to do with it....please.. I love her ill never hurt her, I .... " whack! I punch him straight in his temple, how dare he say he loves my wife? my wife? his head is limp, maybe I knocked the cuunt out; serves him fucķing right. I just walk out signalling Victor, the man I hired to bring Tyson in for me to finish the job.

I was done with his interference in my life; he would not be able to lay with my wife again. What if she's never happy with you, only him, my sub conscience taunts. Then she'll just have to learn to live with it, I answer myself back with vigour.

Don't you want her happy? I shake the thought from head. I'm immensely angry; not because he slept with my wife (although she still denies it) but because he brought this monster back out of me. A monster I haven't seen for ten years!

I slide Lici off my arm which she was snuggled up too. She reached for me and gripped my arm not wanting me to go, the unconscious gesture makes me happy and I snuggle back into her for a while longer. Soon enough I will have to leave though; without her knowledge.

Alicia's POV

I wake up alone, shower, dress and head downstairs for brunch, wow i slept late. I see staff buzzing around busily. "good Morning Mrs Johansson" i gave her a genuine smile.

"Good morning Alicia, and please call me Eloise or mum; no need with the formalities, you're my daughter now" She has sadness in her eyes or is that reluctance? either way the emotion is out of place for the conversation. I quickly change the topic. "what's this all about?" i asked signalling the staff bringing in flowers and different decorations. "Raymond wanted to throw you a 'welcome back, thank god you're safe' party" she laughs "Oh my sweet boy" she says to herself and goes off into a memory and for the first time i see age in her.

Don't get me wrong, she's still as stunning as ever but you can see that she is actually older. "He is very sweet, where is he by the way?"

"He went to visit his dog and to the office; he should be back soon, excuse me dear I have to see about something" and she storms off behind some staff members bringing in a sculpture. What the hell was that for? A small party for me?...... wait he has a dog!?

The day passes and 'Eloise' Ray's mom has introduced me to the staff here at their mansion. They seem more like family than staff the way she interacts with them; maybe my dream of her hating me would never come to pass; I smile silently at the thought. Its almost dark and Ray still hasn't come back or called. His mom says don't worry but I'm constantly thinking about him even as i sit in a relaxing bath waiting for this luxurious party for my release to begin; the idea is still funny to me but it's best i not be ungrateful and just enjoy the night.

There's a knock at the bedroom door and i hear Ms Shelly their main house keeper ask to come in. "please do" I shout back at her. "Master Raymond has sent you a present Ms Alicia, I placed it on the bed" she says behind the closed bathroom door. "Thank you very much" I shout back. Ooo a present, i wonder what it could be?!

I wrap up my shower of course to open my present, because i just love getting presents. its a Big long box so i'm guessing there is a dress in it. Raymond is something else! Lo and behold a dress! and shoes and jewellery ! What the hell! what is all this for? a get together?

Maybe it's best i be safe than sorry. I do my hair in a high neat bun and apply make-up; time for this dress now; when i remove it from the box im speechless! It's absolutely stunning....

At first glance you would think its plain but there is so much detail in every inch, the embroidery is beautiful and the diamonds just makes it all perfect. I love it.

Music is playing softly in the background so i make my way downwhen i get to the top of the stair case I'm panicking because everyone in the living room is staring at me, including Ray's father. I take a few shaky steps making sure to hold the rail and he starts to smile, his smile widening at every step; i finally reach the bottom without flipping over and dying and he takes my hand, "You look amazing daughter, Raymond is going to have a heart attack" he laughs at this but it only made me more nervous.

My dress isn't too much as everyone one seemsto be attending a black tie event. I stand at the entrance to the garden Mr Johansson's hand still in mine as he was leading my; why did he have to stop here, im nervous enough without the entire party staring.

I'm so lost in thought that when Ray snakes his hand around my waist I jump at the contact. "Sorry for startling you; this will be quick sorry" and we turn our attention to his dad who prepares to address the crowd with his wife now by his side.

"Mr Vice President His Excellency Rikkard Arthur, Mr Mayor the Honorable Skidmore Samuel, Senior District Attorney Richard Grey, Mr and Mrs Johnathon Lambstone, Distinguished quest, Media personnel, ladies and gentlemen, goodnight and welcome to my home. We are gathered here tonight to celebrate the marriage of my son Raymond to the beautiful and illustrious Alicia Lambston-Johansson. I want to take this time to thank Johnathan and Julia for bringing into this world and raising such an amazing woman. In the time that I've known Alicia I know that she is a very high spirited and ambitious young lady; and to top it off she makes my son a very happy man; now to embarrass him" Mr Johansson laughs before continuing what seems to be his opening remarks "one time my son came to me, stuttering too because you know he stutters when he's anxious" he laughs again; I looked at Ray who seems to want to be buried alive, I squeeze his hand that I've been holding, the other still at the small of my back. He lets go of the breath he was holding.

"So he says 'dad I think im in love' I almost spit my food out. I'm telling you it was the last thing I expected to hear; 'well thats great son, how have we not met her yet' 'because I have not even met her yet' he said with his head bowed" Ray is digging his fingers into my back and squeezing my hand a little too much, I feel sorry for him but i also want to hear the end of his dad's story.

"I'm speechless at his statement im sure you guessed" the crowd has some laughs "son what do you mean? I ask him; 'well dad I was never one to believe in love at first site but she is it! she was at the hospital, covered in blood and in a panic trying to save an old man and she just looked.... dad I don't know she just looked like a goddess' at this point I'm grining at Ray because he's beaming and I'm thinking you go son, so i asked him how he plans on getting this girl that he's never met and is in love with to fall in love with him; and he says 'dad don't worry she will be my wife, I'm going to find her and do everything in my power to make her happy' so this just proves to me that Raymond is very persistent man and is definitely on cloud nine because he has wooed her. I just want to say son; that i wish you both the very best and a lifetime of happiness, love, trust and many grandbabies for your mom and I, you know she will kill me if I don't let you know; everyone please join me in toasting this beautiful young couple on their marriage and safe return from their honeymoon; to Raymond and Alicia!!" "Cheers" the crowd murmurs. I turn and kiss Ray on the cheek and he visibly relaxes. "You ok?" 

"A-a-a bit ner-nervous" I cant help the smile across my face! he does stutter and its so cute....
