They approached her with curiosity.
“Miss Mabel,” One of the reporters started “Is everything alright? You don’t look so well,”.
Mabel put on her sympathetic expression as she faced the cameras.
“Since the death of my brother In-law and my sister, I have been heartbroken and nearly ran mad because I was depressed. Still, I picked myself up and consoled my self with the fact that they left Cassidy behind at least. And I have been taking care of her ever since. I didn’t expect Cassidy to be so ungrateful and…” her voice broke and a tear slipped down her chin.
From her purse, she fished out a tissue and dabbed on the tear.
“Sorry,” she smiled weakly “I am just so emotional,” she said.
“Take your time, Mabel,” one of the reporters smiled.
Mabel flashed him a smile and continued.
