“I’m going to ask you one more time, Gerald,” Chad said with practiced calmness “And I want you to think about your reply carefully. Are you sure my wife – Mrs West is not back yet? Or maybe she’s back but went out again?”.

“She’s supposed to be back from the court house but don’t worry just let me know as soon as she comes in, okay?”.
