The sweet melody from the guitar stopped as a man rose to his feet and drew back the Jade curtain that created a partition in the room. The figure revealed an eerie, cat-like eyes that seemed to pierce right through Cassidy. Her heart thumped wildly as she took in the sight of the strange man. He stood tall and proud, dressed in a regal purple robe adorned with some Xishan Hanyu at his waist. His hair was parted down the middle, with half of it tied in a majestic purple and gold crown. The lower half of his face was concealed by a silver mask, leaving only his thin, crimson lips and those striking, green eyes visible.
