Micheal pull Ami into one of the room, she snapped her hand off his hand, what is going on with you?.

He exclaim, do you know the real reason Jim married you?, Jim is not Enest son the reason he married you into his family is because of your properties, he want to take it from you and once he achieve his aim you will be nothing to him.

Mum got me married to his son because she trusted him, she wouldn’t have arranged my marriage if he’s evil as you say.

Enest is a devil in disguise, your mum wouldn’t have known his intension.

How long have you know that Jim is an imposter?.

He looks anxiously, reluctant, before your marriage, Enest wouldn’t get involve in what does not benefit him, I had him investigated out of curiosity.

Why do you keep getting involve in my life?, tears running down her cheek.

He push her to the wall pin her hands tightly on the wall staring at her teary eyes he bend down to her length kiss her on the lip savoring her lips as if it’s his last supper, she struggles to withdraw herself from his grip, it slowly becomes mutual as she reciprocate the kiss their lips entwined allowing his tongue into her mouth courteously closes her eyes, he release her hand softly.

What are you up to running around the house, Kate ask.

What does he want by dragging her out?

I saw Micheal dragging Ami out of the party forcefully.

She wasn’t forced, she followed him voluntarily, you said you are here for Moya but seems you are more interested in Micheal than investigating Moya.

I thought Ami is in danger when I saw her with Micheal, Micheal and Moya are up to something I heard them talking about Jim, I just want to protect her from any threat that comes her way.

You can’t out run an injured cat how will you protect her?,just focus on yourself and don’t become a burden to me, mum will query me if anything happens to you, she yell at her.

Josephena bewildered, am a burden to you, is that what you think of me?, she ran out of the party angry, James run after her. She sits in the garden weeping.

James sit beside her, Kate doesn’t mean to hurt you, you guys are twins she’s only looking out for you, he place his hand on her shoulder, we are in this party for a reason it getting late our effort shouldn’t go to waste.

She wipes her tears stands up, lets get it done, James follow her back to the mansion.

Micheal staring into her eyes intensely, have been infatuated by you ever since I set my eyes on you, he withdraw his hands from her body put it in his pocket, I was flustered of the news of your marriage, I tried to stop you but you were adamant, I had to let go of you it was your decision.

Tears running down her cheek, fluster, I couldn’t refuse my dad he made a promise to mum, I couldn’t do anything than to marry Jim, they kept staring into each other eyes, the sound of a gun shot shock them, Micheal steps out of the room Ami follow behind him walking in the direction of the gun sound, a guy in black hood run out of the room push them out of his way Micheal run after him, Ami rush inside the room found Nanny on the floor lying in blood, Ami place her hand on the wound applying pressure to stop the blood crying, Nanny please don’t die I can’t live without you.

Nanny softly opens her eyes place her bloody hand on Ami’s cheek, am old I should have died long time ago but my life is preserved till date, I believe there’s a reason for me been alive, she smile, now it is clear to me, that is for me to protect you with my life, am happy to die for you cutie pie, the property is hidden in your mother’s tomb, your grandfather knew there will come a day people will fight over his properties, he asked me to keep it safe, I kept it with your mother

because I know she will keep it safe, now I can die in peace, I love you cutie pie, her hand slid down from Ami’s cheek landing on the floor.

Ami stare at Nanny’s lifeless body on the floor her tears dropping on Nanny’s body.

Terror and panic hit them running out of the party, Moya drab Eve’s hand running with her to the compound, why was there a gunshot, Eve ask anxiously.

I wish I know, he reply in a cranky manner.

Eve snapped her hand off his, will you keep standing here?, go look for Micheal.

I wish I can but I have to follow Micheal’s order to protect you spoilt brat, I hope his not in danger.

How dare you nobody call me a spoilt brat, she yell out, other student staring at them.

Moya whisper softly to her, keep quiet before they find out the kind of person you are.

Kate ran out of the mansion spot Josephena and James in the mist of

the students ran to them, everyone is out of the house but Ami is nowhere to be found, her voice breaking out of fear.

Josephena hug her, am scared, I hope she’s not the one shot.

Kate withdraw from her hug, we need to find her, she may need our help.

We have to stay put we don’t know what going in there, we might even put her in more danger, James reason with them.

Stay put if you don’t want yourselves killed, Ralph anxiously speaks.

What the heck is going on?, did you invite me to this party to have me kill?I can’t bear this anymore I have to get out of here, Kenley panic as she walk out of the mansion, oh she looks back, I didn’t bring my car, Ami is not among them, what if she was the one shot, I don’t care I

have to save myself.

Micheal run after him into a dark tunnel catching up with him, he punch Micheal in the face slip out of his hand running towards the end of the tunnel, Micheal grab his hood flip him over landing on the ground pinned him down grab a rope tie his two hands together, brings out his phone from his pocket, bring the car over I will send you the location, he hung up the call.

Moya hang up the call drag Eve by her arm to the car.

She struggle to withdraw herself from his grip, you are hurting me, where are we rushing to?, we need to wait for Michal.

We are going to where he is and he need me right now, he pull her into the car close the door and drive out.

Ami sit on the floor holding Nanny lifeless body in her arms, Emily peep

in to the room sees Nanny in Ami’s arm hurried in, who shot her?, where you here before she died?.

Ami kept staring at Nanny’s body.

Emily stands up run out of the room, she sit on the couch weeping, Kiana walk in to see her crying, she bend down in front of her, are you hurt?.

She look Kiana in the eye sad, Nanny is dead, she was shot.

Oh dear, Kiana hug her patting her on the back.

Everyone is leaving we should also go, James says.

Moya park by the road side, stay in the car, I don’t want you adding to the problem, he get out of the car walk in to the bush looking around for the tunnel, he spot the tunnel run towards it.

That was fast getting here.

I thought you were in danger, he point to the guy tied up, who is he?

We will find out soon.

Moya pull him out of the tunnel back to the car, he lock him in the car truck.

Max and Ralph hide inside the bush stalking them, what will you do?, the guy you hired is caught.

I asked that fool to steal the document not kill, I have to get him out of Micheal’s captive before he start speaking.

How do we get him from them?, they are gone already.

We will track them down.

Moya halt the car in front of a big building painted brown on the outside, they got down from the car, Moya knock on the door, a slim tall middle age woman opens the door her white hair packed into a bun smiles at them with open arms, Eve run to hug her, mum you are back.

Emma hug her tightly brushing he hair with her hand, have missed you

sweetheart , she looks at Micheal place her hand on his cheek, you are hurt, did you get into a fight?.

Micheal wipes the blood off his cheek, it not my blood.

What have you been up to getting someone else’s blood on you, what is going on with you?.

Mum I will see you another time, I have things to take care of,you will be staying with mum now that she is back, I will have your things send to you, he enter the car with Moya and drive away.

Emma and Eve watch as the car drive away,why is he in a mess?, tell me what is going on with him.

Eve enter the house, I don’t know, he doesn’t let me get involve in whatever he does, he treat me like a child.

Emma smiles, Micheal has always treat you like a child, he does that to protect you, he doesn’t want you to go through what he went through as a child, you need to learn to live with that.

Eve storms into the room, good night mum.

Moya park the car step out open the truck and drag him out.

He panic, you have to believe me, I didn’t kill the woman.

Micheal put a tape on his mouth, take him inside.

Moya tie him to a chair, he remove the tape from his mouth, you can blabb as much as you want now no one will hear you in this room, so start talking,who sent you to kill that woman?.

I wasn’t the one who killed her, she was dead before I got there.

If you didn’t kill her, who did?

I found her on the floor when I got there.

Micheal grab his neck, I saw you running out of the room and you say you didn’t kill her, he tighten his grip on his neck choking him.He struggles under his grip loosing breath.

Stop it you will kill him, Moya stops him.

He loose his grip on him.

Moya bends down to him, if you don’t spill out the truth I will kill you and dump your body in the garbage for the street dogs to feed on.

I didn’t kill her, there was someone else in the room before I got there, I ran out because I was afraid of getting caught with the body, no one will believe me just as you don’t, I don’t want to go to jail that why I ran.

You are not a student, what where you doing in the house?, Moya interrogate him.

He kept mute staring anxiously.

Moya punch him on the face, you want us to believe you but you are not saying the truth.

Hand him over to the police, they will get the truth out of him.

He look mystify, I was sent to the house to steal a property document, I was told the old woman has it but when I get to the room there was someone else, I didn’t see his face before he jumped out of the window.

Moya looks at Micheal mystify, who sent you to the house?.

Max got me into the mansion.

Micheal storms out of the room, Moya follows him out, it must have been Jim, he’s the only one that could go that far.

What should we do about him, Moya ask?

Lock him inside, I will think of what to do.
