So , the two girls travel into the hot desert , all their water evaporated or vaporized . They couldn't do it anymore and Ria fainted because of dehydration and tiredness . Luna had to carry Ria away from the heat and into a cave where it is much colder . Luna tried to find water but it was also too hot for her to even walk out of the cave . But she found a nearby cactus and cut it open with her knife to drink the water inside . ( WARNING , DRINKING CACTUS WATER IS TOXIC FOR HUMANS ! ) She drank the water and gave Ria some of it so she will be hydrated again , after a day there , Ria finally woke up and Luna was so tired so she drank more cactus water . Ria and Luna ran out of food and water so they collected water from the cacti and tried to find food in the scorching , hot desert .
