I fled the pack, my heart heavy with the weight of Kai’s betrayal.
Couldn’t get my mind off the fact that i was cheated on. I had believed in him more than i believed in myself, and yet, he still chose to betray me. No way i will allow him raise our child. With or without him, my child will be fine and i will make sure he never gets to see his child.
As i wandered, exhausted and hunger caught up with me. I rested against a tree only to notice a portal opening behind it.
Gosh! I have always heard of a portal, but i have never witnessed one before. The air emanating from it was intense, and i stumbled backward to avoid it pull. But it was too late; I felt myself being drawn in, and before i knew it, i found myself in mysterious vampire kingdom.
“How did i get here?” I mut
