Chapter Twenty

Rosie’s P.O.V

Couldn’t complain to anyone, the chores and bullying was getting too much and its already taking a toll on my health… Dan who claimed to love me and care for me just wanted my body and nothing more. He wants someone he could pour out his frustration on.

Never knew Dan had become so bad, that he could plan to make me fall for him just for the book.

I guess the Alpha couldn’t bring himself to treat me right. So he sent Dan instead. But never will i fall for that trick….

My life at the pack continues. As i wash, clean, and sent around like a maid. With my pregnancy only known to me.

Dan still continue treating me well… Even though i didn’t want to find any reason for him to treat me well, knowing he only want to use me.

Didn’t know the connection i had with the book, but i’m sure its something i can use against them, something they want so badly. And i think it might help me one way or the other.

Dan came to me again, he comes frequently these days which is something i expected since he knows what he wants from me.

“Rosie, i bought you something” he said… Don’t you think you’re buying me stuffs too much these days, i never asked for any of these things.

He brought out the dress he bought, a short mini dress… can’t count the number of times he bought things for me. And most of the time, i reject.

Joan doesn’t seem to like the idea of rejecting things from Dan, she thinks he loves me just as he show it.

I rejected this again… he sighed and said, Rosie when will you stop all this. Its time you stop, and see my heart.

Your heart? Dan? You don’t have a heart, lets stop pretending, you and i know what you want. My blood? Willingly?

Wow Rosie, i remember you said you never eavesdrop on what my father and i discussed? That was when i realized i shouldn’t have said that? Ohh my mouth…. It won’t stop running.

Well… wanted to say something, when he cut in, “i’m sure you wouldn’t want my father to hear about this will you”? Ohh gosh… here we go again, i can’t let Dan rat me out to the Alpha, that will get me killed.

Dan who seem to be enjoying my plead, gave a wicked smile. “Ohh poor Rosie, i won’t rat you out, if you do what i want.

What you want? I know he meant sleeping with me… Dan i can’t sleep with you, that’s not possible.

Ohh its not? Watch me tell my father about the thing you know.

Common Dan, i already apologized to you.. i said furiously.

Yeah… what do i expect? Only apology won’t be enough for him.

“I will give you time to think things through Rosie, and make sure you get back to me on time”. I hate waiting… he left afterwards.

Joan walked in immediately Dan left… “Rosie, that enough” you have treated him bad enough, what else do you want him to do for you, can’t you see he loves and cares you? He has changed for good Rosie…

Really joan, you really think he has changed? Hell no, he’s just pretending to love and care for me, so i can help him and his father open the book.

You don’t know the connection you had with the book, so why can’t you help them…

I don’t understand joan most times, she acts like she’s on their side most times which baffles me a lot. She’s not the same Joan i used to know before. The Joan whom i knew wouldn’t want me to end up with Dan no matter what, but she seem different now. Its like she wants me for Dan, whom she once said he’s not good for me.

Joan has always want me to leave here and be free. But these past few days, it like she enjoys me being here.

You know what Joan, I’m not doing this with you today, i won’t end up with Dan and that’s final.

Is it because of kai? She asked, and i looked at her confused.

What does kai had to do with this Joan? This is what i want, and its not because of kai okay? We were still talking which almost end in an argument when slyvia walked in.

She barged in, such a way that scares Joan and i…

Look who is here? Slyvia! To why do we owe this visit? i said…

Cut the crap Rosie! She growled… How many time do i have to warn you to stay away from Dan. Do i have to stoop low so you can know i’m not joking with you? If you know what’s good for you, stay far away from him. And this is going to be the last time i will come here to warn you, there won’t be another time for warning. Mark my words. She was about to leave when i stopped her.

Ohh wait Slyvia, you can’t come here and say trash to me and expect to leave just like that? You and i know that i will never watch you talk to me in that manner.

Dan? I don’t give a s**t about him, he has always been yours, no one is taking him from you, so my dear slyvia, you don’t have to kill anyone to have him. And there won’t be a next time between us two because the next time you barge in here, i’m pushing you out right away. So now, leave!

You slut! She got pissed and slapped me on the face, which i returned to her immediately. Things got hectic between us and we were finally separated by Joan who asked slyvia to leave.

She then leave immediately…

About few hours later, i was still very exhausted from all the stress i went through. From the chores to fighting with slyvia… ohhh my poor baby… i sighed.

Few men barged in. And covered my face with hood, covered my mouth also with a tape when i was about to shout.

Joan has left for some work at the pack house with Dani which makes me the only one around.

The hood was taken off me, and all i could see is an isolated place. Which i don’t know where its located.

Dan came in, and remove the tape on my mouth… you Dan! What do you want from me, let me go! I stood up and wanted to go, but was stopped by Dan with a tight slap on my face which made me hit my stomach on the ground.

Before i could do anything else, Dan forcefully ripped out my dress which i had only bra and pant on. Tears flows down my eyes, and i begin begging him.

No Dan, please don’t do this. I’m begging you.

Why should i listen to you, this is what i have always wanted. you know, but you’re giving me a hard time and i can’t take that from you anymore.

Have had enough of you Rosie.

He ripped out my bra and pant which left me completely naked….

At this point, all i’m hoping for is

someone to show up and save me from this.

Dan pulled me up and hit me again on my face, “you belong to me Rosie” he continue hitting me.

Another person barged in, and kicked Dan off me. I couldn’t see his face… All i could see was darkness…
