Chapter Nine

Rosie’s P.O.V

I was done serving the guests at the party, finally get a rest. I lay down on my bed feeling exhausted. Thinking about life, i didn’t know when i slept off.

A knock woke me up, i got up from my bed and go check who it was, i opened and saw “Gideon” my father beta.

Rosie, today is your day. You shouldn’t be in your room, come out and join the party.

Gideon has always care about me ever since i know him, though he never showed it because he wouldn’t want my father to get mad at him.

I answered, while rubbing my eyes, yawning and still feeling sleepy. “ i will join you all shortly”

My wolf “Lilly” came out, excited about what she heard from Gideon , i could hear that in her voice. “ yeehh we are going to party!”

I quickly enter the bathroom to bath but could feel a sudden change in me. A sudden anxiousness, my body feeling pain and discomfort.

Maybe because its my birthday, there’s no other explanation for this sudden change in me.

I couldn’t control myself, but i could feel Lilly trying to take over me.

Lilly seemed furious, but why…

Could this be that i’m trying to shift…. I know nothing about shifting, but i heard from Joan how transforming is.

My body starting to transform, my muscles shifting, bones reforming, and my skin itching as fur grows.

I couldn’t control my body, everything changing as i try to control it.

Lilly took over me and transform. I was fighting to take over Lilly but that seem impossible for me.

I walked out of my room, couldn’t figure out what exactly was going on, but i notice everywhere was quite. This is so unusual, i wonder what could be the problem.

I stepped outside the hall where the partying is happening, i can’t control what’s happening to me but i can’t clearly see what’s going on in there.

I walked in on the lifeless body on people laying on the floor. Immediately i saw lifeless bodies, i shift back to my human form, i could control myself back, and Lilly seems to have be calmed. And as usual, i can’t find her anywhere, she has gone back to hiding again. I searched for my family first, because even if they don’t love me i still consider them my family.

Walking away from the lifeless bodies i saw beside me, which includes all the member of the pack.

I went in search of my father who i saw his lifeless body holding on to his wife hands. Tears roll down from my eyes, i don’t understand what is going on here exactly, what could have happened here?

Need some explanation for this situation, but who would explain to me what’s happening.

The rest of the pack who seems to have survived came along with my little sister “Dani” who was carried by Dan. I quickly rushed for my sister, if everything is fine with her. But Dan stopped me by pushing me to the ground

Can u explain what’s going on here to me? I asked Dan

Someone behind Dan who is also among the pack who survived said “Rosie, isn’t it enough that u killed your own mother right after u were born”… Now u killed your father and the rest.

I couldn’t understand what he just said.. so i asked him what he meant by that.

The Alpha, Dan’s father said furiously, “you monster” you killed your own family.

I have always known you to be cursed, but i didn’t know you are a monster too.

I beginning crying while asking for explanation of what’s going on, that i didn’t even realized i was naked Not until “Joan” came to cover me up with a towel.

A towel wrapped around me by Joan who whispered

“Its okay Rosie, everything will be fine”

Thing seems not to be fine. I couldn’t have killed my own family not matter what. They may not love me, but i love them. They are still my family and i can’t bear to have them killed.

Rolling on the ground, with the towel on my body to meet Dan who wasn’t even looking me in the eyes.

Dan believe me, i didn’t do this. I just came in here a while ago. I wouldn’t have killed them all. I explained myself to him.

“Luna Anne” Dan’s mother dragged me up forcefully and pushed me down to the ground.

“Stay away from my son, you witch” how could you? Even though everyone knows you’re cursed, we still accepts you. And you did this?

Hoping Dan could save me from this ridicules. I looked at him, so he could say something, but his eyes shone with a cold light.

Does he hate me this much?
